About Mari Lwyd
Mari Lwyd, a Welsh tradition since the early 1800s, is performed around Christmas and New Year. Men carry Mari Lwyd, a decorated horse's skull mounted on a pole, to local houses, requesting entry through song. The householders deny them also through song. This playful exchange goes back and forth until, if the householders relent, the visitors are invited inside and offered food and drink.
Neat Look
I've designed a paper joint that allows movement without being visible from the outside. It's included in the template and tutorial file.
In addition to this file, you will need some card stock to print the template, a scissors, glue, and a 1/8'' hole punch to complete this project. No brads needed.
